No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Balls
Taking no more then 15 minutes to make, these bite-size no bake Peanut Butter Protein Balls are packed with the perfect combo of high quality protein and carbohydrates, making them one of my all-time favorite pre, during or post workout snacks…
Once made, these Peanut Butter Protein Balls can be stored in the fridge or kept in an airtight container and thrown into your gym bag for a a great, stable released pre-workout kick!
175 g pitted dates
140 g raw almonds
2 – 3 heaped tbsp organic peanut butter
2 tbsp mixed seeds
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tbsp honey
1 handful of crushed almonds (to cover)
1. Combine all the ingredients (except the crushed almonds) in a high-powered blender or food processor.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Roll tablespoons of the mixture between the palms of your hands to make balls.
4. Tip the crushed almonds into a shallow plate and roll the balls in the coconut to coat.
5. Store in fridge until ready to eat.
